    7. The trip went smoothly. We had no problems with organisation in the Uk or on the ground. The staff at all locations were well-trained, very polite and (with particular thanks to Tara and David at Sadani) really took care of us.

    16. The guide provided in Stone Town was very good. All the drivers we had for pre-arranged transfers were efficient and polite.

    19. We were told where they used saline or semi-saline water, water from springs, made efficient use of solar power etc and were using local staff and encouraging environmental responsibility in the local area (and making a strong contribution to it).

    20. Other comments

    21. We decided to charter a plane from Sadani to Dar Es Salaam, to avoid about 4 hours of the road transfer. Whilst there is addtional expense (which I may admittedly have originally refused), it is very well-worth doing.

    4. The staff were very polite. The service was very good and the food lovely. We were given a complimentary bottle of bubbles as we were on honeymoon and they ran a bath for us (though sadly it was a little too chilly to enjoy).

    4. Tara was excellent, arranging for us to have two special meals during our four night stay, one with an ocean view, the other lobster on the beach. Tara also cancelled a road transfer and chartered a plane for us at very short notice. David took us out specially to see the elephants and we watched him place a sensor camera to record the wildlife, it was a great experience.

    4. The wildlife is very good. The lodge great. But (perhaps as with all safaris) be prepared for lots of very bumpy jeep journeys.

    4. We were well-taken care of. It was just what we were after and we were made to feel that bit "special" which was very nice.
