    19. Extremely beneficial in developing and understanding of the country, the indigenous people and their ways of life. Experiencing the wild life was fantastic. Our hope is that the game reserves will be protected from over exploitation, and there does seem to be some danger of that if numbers of visitors are allowed to increase substantially

    4. We enjoyed our stay here as being larger, there was more opportunity to meet people from other parts of the world. Quite comfortable, and the meals were very good.

    4. Our two nights under canvass were the highlights of the trip. The hospitality of the staff, the lovely meals, and the relative comfort of the accommodation was delightfully unexpected. We would like to have stayed longer.

    4. For folk from our part of the world the safari was just a wonderful, never-to-be-forgotten experience which was so much better than we anticipated. We also spent one night at the Rift Valley Photographic Lodge. The night here was up with the nights under canvass. It is a beautiful place to stay with amazing views across the Rift Valley to Lake Manyara, and a lovely menu.

    4. Two nights and three days in Zanzibar was fantastic. All arrangements made with Tribes went off without a hitch. The local staff were very good, met us on arrival and took us back to the airport, and we happily used them for a town tour and a spice tour which were both excellent.

    4. Almost without exception we found the locals we came in contact with in hotels, restaurants, and airports to be very helpful and very polite.
