    13. Accommodation throughout was what we'd have chosen and none of it failed to meet our expectations.

    16. Culturally I don't think our guides had it in them to say 'I don't know', (whether this is typical of our guides or Arabs I couldn't say). As a consequence I am confident that the answers to a few of our questions were clearly wrong. But charmingly so.

      Tribes REPLY: You're right that saying 'no' to guests is very difficult in Arab cultures!

    21. This trip is perfect for those wanting to combine new experiences with a bit of luxury recuperation. We were so cossetted that I think even a nervous traveller would have been at ease.

    4. Our desert experience in particular was everything we could have hoped for - sleeping under the stars was marvellous.
