    16. The guides, both Alexis and Delores,were great fun to be with.They were incredibly knowledgeable but able to share their knowledge in a pleasant and interesting way. Their personalities helped to create a relaxing atmosphere on board,but also to impart and enforce the necessary rules,regarding respect for the islands, in a very good way.

    19. Yes, it helps to keep the staff in employment and provide livelihoods for people in the tourist industry locally.Great conservation work and programmes are being undertaken in the Galapagos,regarding nature.

    21. All the airport transfers ran smoothly and efficiently and all the guides were very professional and easy to be with.
      We travelled with American Airlines from Heathrow ,to the Galapagos via Miami and Quito,and would recommend this airline.

    4. I had slight reservations about spending a week with 20 total strangers plus staff,on a ship. However the other families were very pleasant and all the children bonded quickly and had great fun together. The week on the ship was very enjoyable, all staff being very organised to ensure guests were well cared for. The atmosphere was very relaxing, a delicious choice of food was served at every meal and numerous refreshments provided after an island visit or snorkelling.
