    13. We were very pleased that we chose to visit Mainland Ecuador aswell as going to The Galapagos Islands. People we met on our travels wished that they had made the trip in the order that we had.

    16. The three main guides impressed us immensely with their knowledge, enthusiasm and their concern that we should get the maximum benefit from our visit. Our guides were Roul (mainland Ecuador), Ruben (Napo) and Juan (Galapagos).

    4. The bonus was the fact that we diverted to view the active volcano on Isabella involving 5 hour sailing. We viewed from daylight hours until dark and it was truly amazing. We understood that not all Captains were prepared to undertake this diversion.
      (We were on the Cachalote which we would totally recommend).
