    10. My first port of call Dan was very helpful in the preliminary stages of planning with dates, availibility and prices.

      When Dan went on holiday Paul took over and did an excellent job of all the booking work, he even replied to every panicky last e-mail with the calm assurance we needed.

    13. We have been on wildlife tours in the past but nothing could have prepared us for the Galapagos islands, they are truly like nothing we have experienced before. Whereas you usually spend your time searching for a stolen glimpse of an animal you find yourself almost fallng over them. That may take the thrill out of it a little but the interaction and observation enabled by this close proximity is enchanting.

    16. Eddison was our guide in ecuador, he was very welcoming and made what was in our minds a minor part of the trip (Quito, old town) into a very enjoyable visit.

      The crew of the boat in Galapagos were great.

      Elizabet and Alex were our guides and they in many ways made the trip, both had very differing styles with Elizabet's humour just pipping Alex to the post

    19. The tour of the Galapagos that we had was run locally, with a locally registered boat with local crew, this seemed to be the ultimate goal for all tours of the islands.

      What we witnessed on our trip lead us to believe that everything within the Ecuadorian governments power was being done to preserve and protect these beautiful islands

    21. This is the second holiday we have booked through a Responsible Travel recommended company and we would just like to say a big thank you to Tribes for putting together an excellent package, it really was an amazing holiday.

    4. Sat up on deck with all sails full was truly a unique experience. The large areas of seating on deck meant that there was plenty of choice in where you spent the periods of relaxation and sailing. The food was regular and of very good quality, as vegetarians we had a variety of well considered mains. The sleeping quarters were comfortable if a bit noisy from engine and a.c. Earplugs for next time!

    4. This is a truly unique wildlife experience that shouldn't be missed by anyone even slighty interested. Where else in the world would you be stepping around igaunas and seabirds in the morning and then be swimming with sea lions and turtles in the afternoon, incredible.
