    10. The holiday exceeded our expectations and thanks to Dan for understanding our requirements and delivering everything that we asked for and more.

    12. The guides were all fully conversant with their country and the environment. The drivers were experienced and careful and we had extremely comfortable vehicles throughout our trip.

    14. The accomodation, transport and meals employed local people in many roles. We visited a Berber souk in the countryside ,and it was one of the many highlights of the trip, but we didn't feel that we were contributing to their economy.
    15. Other comments

    16. The Moroccans are incredibly friendly and love to practise their English. French is their second language so it helps if you can 'Parlez Francais'. Never once did we feel insecure or unwelcome. Although it is a Muslim country they don't impose this on the tourists but one should be respectful in religious areas. The country is very beautiful and we are looking forward to returning in the not too distant future.

    3. What a find! We would highly recommend that you stay at this Kasbah. Excellent food and drink, beautiful surroundings, and staff who could not do enough for you. We were treated like honoured guests but the interior decor gave a homely feel. The views and surrounding gardens set this apart. Suitable for summer and winter holidays as all rooms have A/C and open fires.

    3. Beautiful and so close to the main square. An oasis away from the bustle but you could still hear the 'call to prayer' and get lost in the alleyways of the Medina. The Moroccan interiors were exquisite and the small pool was much needed after a few hours of site seeing.

    3. Good location close to the centre of Essaouira. Three choices of restaurant for dinner, Moroccan, French and Seafood but would recommend eating in the harbour fish cafes at a fraction of the cost of meals in the hotel if you can book B & B instead of half-board as we did. Hotel a little 'tired' and some areas in need of refurbishment.

    2. What a place. The atmosphere was superb and the people welcoming and fun. Be prepared for it to be hot in July/August but it was bearable because of the dry heat, the pool in the Riad and the A/C unit in our room.

    3. Had lunch at the Kasbah Du Toubkal, at Imlil in the Atlas Mountains after a 30 minute steep trek. Not to be missed. The views, food and location worth the exertion. If you don't fancy the walk there are plenty of donkeys to take the strain but well worth the effort. A good place to stay if you want to get away from it all and meet like-minded people.
