    13. Having had the pleasure of small tented camps in the bush before, I wanted the close proximity of nature and all it's personality - there is no doubt you get this with Mara Explorer and MORE!

    16. WOW - Dominic was our guide. What a lovely knowledgeable man. His knowledge and perception of the animals is fantastic. He has a huge passion for the bush and respects the animals and their environment. How he does not get lost in the maze and myriad of tracks and roads, I do not know. Thank you Domonic.

    19. Visits to the local village put resource back into their community, in what is a very harsh environment to live in. Having the privilege of a trip / experience like this, should make you realise just how important the conservation and preservation of nature and wildlife is. Dont just see it on TV or in a book - go and experience it!

Although you sleep in a tent in the bush - accommodation is excellent and more than comfortable - you will be surprised - do not make the mistake I did on the first night and mistake a hot water bottle in my bed for a snake - yes very embarrassing! The food is excellent and surpassed all my expectations. 4/5 course meal lunch and dinner, freshly prepared to a high standard - I still cannot believe how chef did it. A HUGE thank you to Mariana (host / manager of the camp) and her team for their warmth, caring, professionalism and friendship. Thank you all very much - you certainly have a formula for success, in my opinion.

    4. If you are after large volumes of migrating animals (wildebeest), you got it - although it comes with awe and tragedy at times. To the gentle variety of antelope, big cats, elephant and giraffe - you get it. The sheer size, expanse and beauty of the Mara is awesomely spectacular and breathtaking!
