    10. Our consultant Paul (and in his absence his colleagues) were very helpful and we received information promptly which was especially useful as we booked quite close to our departure date. We found the booking pack helpful, especially the packing list.

    13. The trekking section of the holiday was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. Accommodation in the Berber gite was also much more comfortable than we had expected from the information prior to the trip.

    16. Our mountain guide Mohammed was extremely knowledgeable and we felt very safe even in quite difficult conditions at the summit. He also suggested some changes to our itinerary which we felt improved the trip and enabled us to cope better with the altitude. Our half day city tour of Marrakesh was also excellent, as was our guide€™s lunch recommendation afterwards!

    19. Tourism was clearly beneficial to the local community in Aremd as most local people were employed as guides, muleteers etc. All the people we met made us feel very welcome and were keen to encourage visitors to the region.

    4. The hotel was a good standard and the pool was very welcome in the heat. However it was quite large and a little inpersonal and it would probably have been preferable to stay closer to the centre of the city to avoid the death defying taxi rides.

    4. We are glad to have experienced Marrakesh and enjoyed much of our visit, particularly the guided tour including the Bahia palace and Saadian tombs. The quality and quantity of the food was also excellent. However the crazy atmosphere of the city and excessively aggressive tactics of some of the street sellers was pretty exhausting and a 2 day visit was long enough.

    4. Reaching the summit of Mount Toubkal was amazing and the highlight of our visit. We would recommend trekking in the Atlas to anyone who enjoys walking, although anyone considering climbing Toubkal should be prepared for some fairly tough conditions. It was particularly good to have our own dedicated guide rather than being part of a larger group as the walking was tailored to our pace and preferences.
