    6. Everything ran like clockwork from start to finish. Given the amount of travelling and activities included in the intinerary this was an outstanding achievement.

    8. Service was excellent with prompt and reliable communication. The documentation provided was also of a very high standard.

    10. The trip included many highlights of South America enabling us to get a feel for the country and its people. We feel we enjoyed the best of the best.

    12. We had different Guides for different sections of our holiday in South America. All of whom were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We also felt very safe with the drivers and the transport was always clean, all had useable seat belts. We even had a boat to ourselves which normally accommodates 25 persons!

    14. Yes, we certainly saw evidence of conservation and one Guide was actually telling us of the local charity work he was aware being undertaken by Tribes. We have become more aware of the environmental problems in the areas we visited and how this is affected by local and global issues. I think they could teach us a thing or two about recycling!
    15. Other comments

    16. We are extremely well travelled people and this holiday experience was 'head and shoulders' above anything we have done so far....... From Galapagos, to Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca including the journey on the Andean Explorer - just magic. The food in South America has also been outstanding wherever we have eaten. Well Done Tribes for all making this possible.

    3. We thoroughly enjoyed this however, on initial arrival I was shocked at the very basic facilities. We were informed at the time of booking it was very basic but I guess I should have checked out what "very basic" actually meant. This did not detract from the overall experience which was excellent.

    3. Really liked this hotel and its location. The Staff were also very good. The room though was very small but very clean.

    3. Location was excellent, staff were very good and the hotel itself was clean. However, we found our room and the public rooms very dark (virtually no windows) with no outside sitting space or bar area. This meant on the one day we had free we couldn't really relax in the hotel and went to sit in the park - not ideal. Fine for a quick stopover but would recommend not using this for guests where stays are a few days or more.

    3. Quite spacious with good outside space, however, we didn't sit outside because it was rather smelly. Rooms and public areas were very clean and the staff very helpful. Limited restaurant facilities with the exception of breakfast. There were no other facilities within walking distance that we saw. This didn't matter as we were there really for two, one night stop overs.

    3. Good location, staff helpful but little English spoken though the latter isn't a criticism because we should be able to speak some of the local language. Rooms clean and breakfast was fine though there was no bar or other restaurant facilities in the hotel. The latter didn't really matter because were able to find very good restaurants nearby but a nightcap when we returned would have been nice.

    3. Fantastic to see how people live, the Island is beautiful and the food was good which was a surprise to me when I saw how it was being cooked. We were made very welcome by the family and had a good time with them. To see that there are still communities living happily without water, plumbing and electricity was a cultural learning experience for us. A sad reminder of how materialistic and commercial we have become.
