    6. The holiday was everything we'd hoped for and more.

All arrangements went seamlessly to plan and there were no hitches at all. Loved it. On top of that, In 10 drives in 2 parks, we saw 14 tigers. 7 at each park. Can't ask for better than that.

      Thanks all

    8. Paul was always available in the planning and run-up to the holiday and ready to help out in a constructive way with any questions or queries. Excellent service.

    10. We went to see Tigers and saw 14. What more can I say? Also - on the way back, the Taj Mahal was spectacularly beautiful. No hitches at any time. Loved it.

    12. On time. polite, charming and helpful. Very knowledgeable and helpful tour guides and the Park guides/naturalists were invaluable in being able to get to the Tigers in time for effective sightings. Very 'conservation aware' too. Good fun to be with. No pressure put on anyone to mix unless it happened naturally - which it did. We enjoyed the company of our fellow travellers and had a great time.

    14. We both learned a lot - particularly about the effects of the parks on local villages and culture - and vice versa.

The scrums to get to the best place in the Gypsies (jeeps), however, once a Tiger had been spotted were verging on the obscene. We are a shamefully greedy species - and its not pleasant to experience that. Sometimes the best policy has to be to just leave the animals to those who got there first. We asked our driver and guide to back-off (which it turned out they wanted to do anyway) and I think we saw more tigers in other places as a result. See a big crowd of jeeps ahead- go someplace else.

    16. We'll certainly do this again sometime. The holiday exceeded or highest expectations in every way.

      Thanks to all involved.

    3. Accommodation basic but fine. Food more than adequate. Very prepared to accommodate a coeliac diet, often cooking specially.

Lacked any real place to sit and talk to others outside the restaurant area. As a result, we hardly saw anyone else at other than mealtimes. It would've been nice to share experiences on the drives a bit more.

    3. Accommodation and surroundings excellent. Very comfortable and relaxing.

Good shared 'relaxation' areas and a nice touch of tea/coffee/drinks provided there on return from every afternoon drive as it got dark.

    2. 'The Taj defies photography' - its true. This building has to be one of the most beautiful in the world. Don't miss it.
Pity about the crowds, but just look over their heads.
Agra is a busy small city with a lot more charm than Delhi. We enjoyed the day there a lot. Good guide too.

    3. Transfers by car/van were always in air conditioned comfort. Driving (preferably - being driven) is an experience not to missed - road behaviour is.......interesting.

Travel from Katni to Agra on the overnight sleeper (second class air-conditioned) was an experience I'm glad I've had and will do anything I can never to have to do again! We wanted the experience of having done it - and an experience it certainly was. Don't expect to sleep much - just go with the flow. We shared our curtained 4-bed couchette with a lovely family - got to know them well. Glad we did it - don't want to do it again.

Nice touch to book a hotel for 5/6 hours after a very early morning arrival. Much-needed.

    3. 14 tigers in 10 drives plus loads of other mammals and birds. No real problems with bugs. What more could you want?

Drive timed well to avoid the mid-day heat, but it was still damned hot! Strangely, at Kanha, also very cold first thing
