This fabulous Africa wildlife and beach holiday in southern Tanzania is all about diversity of experiences.
It's an adventure holiday which gives you the chance to enjoy some excellent wildlife viewing in the renowned Selous Game Reserve (on foot, by boat and by jeep) and then relax on the glorious island of Zanzibar which is known for its beautiful white beaches, fabulous swimming, snorkelling and diving and for the fact that this is where many exotic spices are grown.

Itinerary
Day 1: (Sun or Thurs):  Arrive at Dar es Salaam.  Relax in a hotel in Dar.
Day 2:  Visit the Bibi Jann project then head by road to Saadani. [B,D]
Day 3:  Have 2 days in a gorgeous thatched tented cottage.  This is both a beach and bush location.  You will spend a full day on safari where you might see elephants, antelopes and excellent bird life.  There is also a turtle project nearby. [B,L,D]
Day 5:  Adventure camping on a boat on the Wami River in Saadani.  Enjoy an exciting day and night in the wild. [B,L,D]
Day 6:  We drive you to Dar then you are booked on a train* to journey across Africa to Selous Game Reserve. You will be met at Kisaki and taken to your fabulous safari lodge. [B,D] * you can upgrade to a flight for £100
Day 7:  You will experience a walking safari on the outskirts of the Selous Game Reserve and have a visit to a local village [B,L,D]
Day 8:  We will take you for a full days wildlife viewing, the chance to see lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes and much more.  Plus a boat safari, a unique way to get close to wildlife. [B,L,D]
Day 9:  Morning transfer to airstrip for flight to Zanzibar Island for a chance to relax on the beach. [B,D]
Day 10:  Four days relaxing in Zanzibar at The Zanzibari which is right on the beach.[B,D]
Day 14:  We transfer you to Zanzibar airport to fly home.
 All this for £1790 per person (not including international flights) which is a saving of £150 each.

Accommodation based on twin share (1 night hotel in Dar, 3 nights lodge at Saadani, 1 night boat cabin, 3 nights lodge at Selous, 4 nights The Zanzibari Hotel), meals and transfers as shown, first class seat on train from Dar to Kisaki, flight Selous to Zanzibar, activities as shown
