Travel to Ecuador, and let Tribes guide you through one of the friendliest South American countries. Ecuador, selected as the Capital of Culture for the Americas 2011, straddles the equator in South America and is a gem of a country offering a wide variety of attractions in a relatively small area. The landscape stretches from the dizzy heights of the Andes down to the rain-forests of the Amazon basin in the east, and the Pacific coast in the west.
And of course one of the biggest attraction of a holiday to Ecuador is a visit to the Galapagos Islands. This is so popular that we have given it its own destination pages which you can see here: Galapagos Islands We offer a wide choice of Galapagos cruises and also excellent land based itineraries for those that don't want to cruise.
