From trekking in the Atlas Mountains, to rafting in Nepal or camping in Jordan's Wadi Rum - here are a selection of active or adventure experiences you might want to consider for yourself.
Travel Experiences
Much of travelling is about the very specific experiences we have during our time on holiday. It's about the hour you gazed with awe at a mountain gorilla; it's about the enthralling day you spent on a walking safari with a Maasai warrior; it's about the 15 minutes you floated and giggled in the Dead Sea; it's about the 10 minutes you gazed on the Taj Mahal as the sun was setting.
It's these moments - these experiences - which become the memories we treasure for years to come.
In these pages we have tried to bring to life some of the kinds of experiences which you could have, and which some of our previous clients have enjoyed. Our hope is that this is another way to help you work out just what you want out of your tailor made holiday.
If they strike a chord with you, you can then continue to an itinerary or accommodation suggestion which will allow you to work out how to have such an experience.

Meeting tribal people or shopping in Andean markets is one thing, but meeting a living goddess - surely not? Touch diverse cultures on your holiday.

Wildlife holidays probably account for the major proportion of what our clients choose, but which wildlife experience is really unmissable?

One of the reasons we travel is to see incredible sights from waterfalls to deserts. Read experiences of some of these natural wonders here.

There are some truly awe-inspiring places we can visit in the world, such as the Taj Mahal, or indeed some very ordinary yet fascinating things we can see such as life passing us by on an Indian train trip.

Learning to cook a different cuisine, perhaps Indian or Peruvian, is a great way to get under the skin of a place.
