About Zambezi Kulefu Camp

  • Close Panel

Kulefu (meaning 'the faraway place') is set deep in the Lower Zambezi National Park on the banks of the river.

This intimate camp has seven large chalet style tented rooms (maximum 12 guests) with mosquito nets over four poster beds, en-suite facilities and views of the Zambezi River.

The central lounge and dining area is set in two large Bedouin style tents blending into the environment with traditional safari furnishings. There is a spacious relaxation deck area and river side swimming pool. In the evenings, enjoy sitting round a camp fire on the banks of the river and dine under the stars.

Game viewing here is in open 4x4 vehicles and both day and night drives can be enjoyed as well as bush walks. Motor boating, canoeing and fishing are all highlights of any trip to Lower Zambezi.

Pricing guidelines for Zambia

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless airlines have special offers). Zambia combines well with Malawi and Botswana.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:
