Kwena Lagoon Camp is set in the private Luamfwa Concession in the southern part of South Luangwa National Park, famed for its rich variety of game. The 8 safari-style tents are all ensuite with both indoor and outdoor showers. The central dining and bar area is set under a grove of shadey ebony trees and is a great place to unwind. The viewing deck and pool have views of the lagoon.
Activities include guided game walks exploring the local environment and both day and night game drives, to view the resident game which includes elephant, buffalo, antelope. lion, leopard and wild dog. The area is also home to Thornicroft's girrafe and Cookson's wildebeest, which are unique to this region.
