    About Kuyenda Camp

    • Close Panel

Kuyenda is nestled amongst shady trees on the banks of the seasonal Manzi River. The area along the dry river bed and the adjoining flood plains are excellent walking territory.

Accommodation is in four authentic thatched rondavels containing large spacious beds, mosquito netting and en-suite facilities including shower, toilet and wash basin, the hot water is heated on demand on a fire and carried by wheelbarrow to your room. The central dining area, lounge and bar overlook a grassy plain with abundant wildlife where the drama of wild Africa plays out before you.

Top Zambian Guide, Phil Berry has called the Luangwa Valley home for over 40 years and is based at this camp with his wife Babette who are excellent hosts. To walk amongst wildlife big and small with the security of an expert naturalist and armed guard dramatically heightens the senses and creates exciting experiences not possible in a vehicle.  Whether you choose walking safaris, day and night game drives or both, Phil's knowledge and years of experience will guarantee you one of the best safaris ever.

    Pricing guidelines for Zambia

    • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless airlines have special offers). Zambia combines well with Malawi and Botswana.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
