    About Islands of Siankaba

    • Close Panel

Islands of Siankaba Lodge comprises of two densely forested sand islands in the Zambezi River near the Siansimba Rapids. It is located 24 miles upstream from the Victoria Falls and just 30 miles from the World famous Chobe Game Park in Botswana. The Islands of Siankaba have been developed as a luxurious five star lodge, exclusively sleeping just 14 guests in seven rooms.

The two islands are linked by a suspension bridge leading to an overhead walkway in the tree canopy connecting to the elevated chalets. One of the distinctive features of the lodge is the excellence of its food and wines having developed a reputation for ‘haute-cuisine in the bush’ to compliment  first class service. They are linked by a winding over-head walkway so that guests do not actually walk on the islands surface in order to protect the fragile riverine environment.

Finishing is of an extremely high standard using imported fittings to compliment the natural feel of the construction materials used. All chalets have en-suite bathrooms, (ball and claw baths and separate shower), mini bar, large mosquito nets, ceiling fan and private safe. There are also honeymoon and VIP suites.

The food here is superb with the chef having had internatinoal exposure and there is also a treatment room, 'the Ukuchina Boma' where a qualified therapist can offer you massage and traditional Zambian treatments!

    Pricing guidelines for Zambia

    • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless airlines have special offers). Zambia combines well with Malawi and Botswana.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
