About Sultans Palace

  • Close Panel

Built in traditonal Arabic Zanzibari style, the hotel is a smart and peaceful retreat offering an excellent contrast to the hustle and bustle of Stone Town. The hotel has 15 spacious air conditioned suites all with ensuite bathrooms and dressing areas. Each suite has a terrace on which breakfast is served. Lunch is served at a terrace bar on the beach, while dinner is served by candlelight on the terraces of the main club house. Fresh fish, local Zanzibar sprices and Italian cuisine are the specialities served at the hotel.

Sultans Palace is a perfect place to relax. From the hotel a walkway leads down to the private beach where guests can relax on the sun beds. For the more energetic activities include snorkelling, diving, mountain biking and sailing trips up the coast. The hotel can also arrange excursions to other destinations on the island.

There are three categories of suites, all varying slightly in size. All have air conditioning and ceiling fans. There is a swimming pool with spa and massage area and pool bar.

Pricing guidelines for Tanzania

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Tanzania can combine easily with other East African countries.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:
£

  £50 to £150

  £150 to £300
