About Kati Kati Tented Camp

  • Close Panel

Kati Kati Tented Camp is a fairly large rustic mobile safari camp in the central part of Serengeti National Park, two hours scenic drive from either Olduvai Gorge or Grumeti River.

The twenty tents have en-suite shower rooms with bucket shower, hand basin and flush toilet. Three tents have king sized beds and the rest are twins. Each tent hs a private sitting area at the front. There is a cosy mess tent where meals are served. Food can also be enjoyed al fresco. There is a separate lounge tent and a library.

Activities here include game drives in the Serengeti and visits to local Maasai villages. In the evenings guests gather round the camp fire to enjoy snacks and drinks and swap tales of the day's events.

Pricing guidelines for Tanzania

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Tanzania can combine easily with other East African countries.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:
£

  £50 to £150

  £150 to £300
