Itinerary

1. Day 1:
   Arrive in Zanzibar. Transfer to your beach hotel for the start of your relaxing holiday. (D)
2. Days 2-3:
   Relaxing on the beach. (Half Board for all resorts except Matemwe and Chumbe, which only offer Full Board).
3. Day 4:
   Morning spice tour on the way back from your chosen beach resort. Overnight in a Stone Town hotel. (B)
4. Day 5:
   Transfer back to Zanzibar airport for your flight out. (B)

Other optional excursions available in Zanzibar include a day tour to see the dolphins, Jozani Forest, Prison Island and  Stone Town tours.

Price

2008 & 2009: From £460 per person based on twinshare accommodation. This is a GUIDE price based on 5 days on the island. There are many choices of accommodation on Zanzibar and the price of the trip will vary according to the accommodations used and the length of stay. This price does not include flights.

Best times to go

The short rains come to Zanzibar in about November and December; the long rains are here from March to about May/early June. So the high seasons are from around June to October and January and February.
