This excellent African safari to the Serengeti is perfect from January to March when the migration is in the southern Serengeti and it is the height of the calving season (which lions love!). It gives you the opportunity to see the Serengeti at its best with miles and miles of open savannah teaming with African wildlife - a truly classic African safari.

Itinerary
- Day 1: Depart Arusha for Lake Manyara NP. Gameviewing, then drive to Gibbs Farm. (L,D)
- Day 2: A morning walk with a Maasai guide, then the afternoon in Ngorongoro Crater. Serena Lodge (FB)
- Day 3: Morning in Crater, then drive towards Serengeti stopping at Olduvai Gorge on the way. Gameviewing in the Serengeti, based at Ndutu Safari Lodge for 4 nights.
- Day 4 - 6 : Game viewing in the Serengeti. (FB)
- Day 7: Drive back to Arusha, with lunch on the way at Kirurumu Lodge. (B,L)
