Keys Hotel Moshi has15 en-suite, air-conditioned bedrooms self-contained –including some executive rooms with TV, in-house video and mini bar. There are also 15 African style cottages with traditional thatched roofs. There is a restaurant and bar, room service, swimming pool and telephone, fax and internet facilities. It is most often used as a base from which to climb Kilimanjaro –climbing expeditions for all levels of experience can be arranged by the hotel.

Dinner and breakfast rates are included on our Kili climbs here the night before and after your climb. Extra nights are on a B&B basis, pay direct for meals.

Pricing guidelines for Tanzania

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Tanzania can combine easily with other East African countries.
