    About Mbalageti

    • Close Panel

The Mbalageti Serengeti is located in the Western corridor of the Serengeti National Park.  Mbalageti Serengeti is on the Mwamyeni hill and offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Serengeti plains and the Mbalageti River.
The lodge has 14 standard rooms in the main lodge, and 24 luxury tented chalets out on the hill. The chalets are made of wood and rock, with canvas sides, are all en-suite, and have a private verandah. The tented rooms sit on either side of the hill, half facing sunset and half towards sunrise.

Honeymoon chalets also have an outdoor bathtub and there are also two exclusive suites.  All rooms have safes and fans.

There is a spa with massage and plunge pool facilities and the swimming pool  has a 360 degree view over the plains. The camp provides complimentary leomande and fruit to refresh you.

Facilities include a restaurant, swimming pool, bar, lounge loft (which is a second floor comfy area to relax with games and books) and a small shop.  There is internet access most of the day.  Electricity is provided by a generator between 5.30 am and 11.30 pm.

    Pricing guidelines for Tanzania

    • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Tanzania can combine easily with other East African countries.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
