About Lemala Tarangire Camp

  • Close Panel

A seasonal luxury tented camp in the heart of Tarangire National Park. Due to the game movements in this area, this camp operates from June to October and is relocated at Manyara from December to March to make the most of wildlife viewing.

Situated deep in Tarangire National Park on a site near the Kuro ranger post, this is a lovely camp with seven spacious tented rooms with luxurious touches. The lounge tent has comfy sofas, bar area and small library and guests can dine in here under shade and shelter or al fresco when the weather is favourable. Rooms have 24 hour solar lighting and en-suite facilities with flush toilets and great bush showers.

Due to the permanent Tarangire River and surround swamp area of Silale, large numbers of elephant and buffalo gather here in the dry season. There are over 500 species of birds and cat sightings are frequent too. Because the camp is centrally located, guests can choose to game drive in many different directions in Tarangire.

Pricing guidelines for Tanzania

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Tanzania can combine easily with other East African countries.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:
£

  £50 to £150

  £150 to £300
