About Lemala Ndutu

  • Close Panel

A luxury tented camp, seasonally placed in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area at Ndutu, in the heart of the migration between December and March.

The camp has nine high quality tents which are located on the edge of a permanent marsh. As well as game drives into the heart of the herds, you can take a walk with a local ranger around the marsh area.

The tented rooms all have large single or king size double beds with duvets, 24 hour solar lighting and en-suite bathrooms with a dressing area, flush toilets and safari shower. The 'mess' tent has a lounge and dining area with a bar and is comfortably fitted with sofas and rugs. Campfire drinks are enjoyed when it's dry and warm outside and most drinks are included in the rates.

Superb picnics and bush meals can be enjoyed here, if you want to go out all day, the camp will provide you with supplies and have hot water waiting for your return with a drink by the campfire and a sumptuous evening meal - a perfect day on safari!

Pricing guidelines for Tanzania

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Tanzania can combine easily with other East African countries.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:

  £50 to £150
