About Kono Kono Beach Villas

  • Close Panel

Superb, luxury beach villas on Zanzibar, all with private plunge pools and spacious accommodation on the East Coast at the Michamvi peninsular. Kono Kono Beach Villas are set in extensive grounds, much of which has been dedicated to conservation. Guests are free to wander along the many pathways and enjoy the flora and fauna, which include monkeys, deer and many species of birds.

There are eleven villas in different categories - four beach front, four jungle front and three jungle back. Indigenous plants surround the property, giving privacy between villas. They have huge bathrooms and open air bath tubs. Each has a lounge and a separate outdoor Arabic style seating area with a private plunge pool, so there is ample space to relax.

There are two restaurants, the Jungle Terrace which is the main dining area, serving a lovely blend of local and western fusion food. There is also wifi connectivity here and in the Jungle Bar. The Beach Restaurant offers light lunches, BBQs and dinner on the beach. The Jungle Bar and Kono Kono Beach Bar offer a huge variety of drinks to serve you through the day and night!

There is a main pool in addition to the villas' private plunge pools and a wide, long, unspoilt sandy beach invites you for walks and swimming too.

The Spa
The Jungle health spa offers a range of treatments and massages to help revive and rejuvenate you in a tranquil setting with glorious views. What a place to recharge your batteries!

Pricing guidelines for Tanzania

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Tanzania can combine easily with other East African countries.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:

  £50 to £150
