About Kasha Boutique Hotel

  • Close Panel

Kasha is a superb luxury boutique hotel on the north east coast of Zanzibar with views over Mnemba Atoll.

There are eleven spacious, luxury villas each with their own plunge pool and decorated in cool, natural colours, representing the spices of the island. Each has an indoor and outdoor seating area and sun decks with great sea views. They have king size beds with mossie nets, baths and showers and modern comforts such as air conditioning, fans, mini bars and flat screen TVs, DVD player and tea and coffee making facilities.

The hotel has a large infinity swimming pool and lovely beach area. At low tide the beach is accessed by a staircase and at high tide there is a natural sea pool. If you want to visit the local fishing village at Matemwe, this can be arranged - take time out to meet the locals and find out about their way of life.

The Sama Restaurant serves tasty food, using the freshest seafood and local spices. All food is locally sourced. Dinner can be enjoyed in the privacy of your own villa, by the pool or on the dining deck with views of the Indian Ocean and Mnemba Atoll. There are two bars, one of which is by the infinity pool and serves a range of lighht meals and snacks as well as drinks.

The Spa
There is a beautiful spa at Kasha, most treatments taking place in the open air with the cooling sea breeze, sound of the ocean and bird song surrounding you. Treaments offered include body scrubs, massages, facials and holistic treatments. Locally infused oils such as langi langi and lemon grass oil are used.

Pricing guidelines for Tanzania

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Tanzania can combine easily with other East African countries.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:

  £50 to £150
