About Dunia Camp

  • Close Panel

Dunia Camp is a small semi-permanent camp in the Moru Kopjes area of Serengeti. Set on a peacefule site, the camp has just 8 luxury en-suite tents, ensuring an intimate atmosphere.

Dunia Camp is run by Asilia and was opened in December 2009. It retains the feel of a mobile camp but has features of a permanent accommodation with attention to detail in the decor, furnishings and home comforts. The tents are spacious with large comfy beds and ensuite bathrooms with flush toilets. Each tent has a private veranda, ideal for relaxing between game drives and enjoying the views across the plains.

It sits in a very scenic part of the Serengeti at Moru Kopjes - huge, surreal-looking rocky outcrops provide vantage points for wildlife views (and for predators!). The camp is in the central area of Serengeti and balloon flights can be done from here. There are daily game drives in open vehicles.

Because of permanent waters in the Seronera River nearby, Dunia Camp provides great wildlife viewing all year.

Pricing guidelines for Tanzania

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Tanzania can combine easily with other East African countries.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:

  £50 to £150

  • Great place! Watch the rising sun with a cup of tea at 7 a.m., some zebras at a distance! All kind of animals around. Breathtaking peaceful landscape....
