    About Arusha Safari Lodge

    • Close Panel

Arusha Safari Lodge (previously known as Safari Spa) is a wonderful old private residence converted to a lodge in huge gardens.  This is a luxury haven with only 7 cottages, all very spacious with lovely views.  The gardens have spectacular views of both Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru.  There is a summer house for afternoon tea and sundown drinks and a large pool.

The lodge goes to great lengths to ensure all guests are personally taken care of. All cottages are privately set with views of the swimming pool and lush gardens and furnished with Zanzibar beds. Facilities include a tennis court, a fitness centre with a fully equipped gym. A jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and tropical pool provide pampering at its very best.

Bathrooms have both bath and shower, wash hand basin, separate toilet, towels, soap, bottled water.  The rooms have mosquito nets and ceiling fans.  There is a dining room and lounge, breakfast is usually served by the pool.

There is a fully equipped gym with 18 machines for those in training for climbs and pampering and massages for those just back! The lodge has gorgeous views of both Meru and Kilimanjaro set in lovely tropical gardens which attract many colourful birds.

For those with equine interests there is a polo field and horse stables to be rented out.

    Pricing guidelines for Tanzania

    • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Tanzania can combine easily with other East African countries.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
