    About Arusha Coffee Lodge

    • Close Panel
Arusha Coffee Lodge is situated just off the main road, a few minutes from Arusha airport. The 20 beautifully-restored plantation houses are dotted around a still functioning coffee plantation –the largest in Tanzania - and the plantation coffee is served at the lodge. The rooms are very tastefully furnished, with split-level living areas, king-size beds, wood burning stoves, wooden floors, crystal glass decanters and tiled en-suite bathrooms and private verandas. The coffee theme is apparent in the style of the rooms, with dark wood fittings and lots of natural fibres in the furnishings. There is a mini bar, and of course, coffee making facilities in all rooms, and room service is available. Arusha Coffee Lodge has a good size pool with a large wooden deck. The restaurant serves good lunches, and there is a large pleasant bar near the entrance next to a large pond with a bridge over it. There is also a coffee shop, boutiques, art and craft shops and a patisserie.

Activities: Tours of the coffee estate, trips to the markets in Arusha and helicopter flights to Kilimanjaro.

    Pricing guidelines for Tanzania

    • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Tanzania can combine easily with other East African countries.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
