About The Foresters Arms

  • Close Panel

The Foresters Arms offers a warm welcome and home comforts in the beautiful Swaziland highlands. Set in some 90 hectares of colourful gardens this is a peaceful setting in which to relax amongst the colourful flowers and exotic birdlife. There are 30 bedrooms all with ensuite bathroom, telephone, TV and great views over the gardens and countryside.

The country atmosphere is evident in the lounges, restaurant and pub, complete with log fires. Breakfast is served either in the dining room or on the sun terrace and guests can choose between homemade meusli, breads, pastries and a full English breakfast. Drinks, including the hotel's own spring water, and snacks are available during the day. Dine by candlelight enjoying delicious cuisine including fresh fruit and vegetables.

Nature lovers can explore the surrounding forests on foot or on horseback, fish for trout or bass in the stocked dams, picnic at a nearby waterfall or simply relax by the pool or in the library. For the golfer, the Usutu golf course adjoins the estate. A sauna, tennis, squash, bowls and table tennis are available, and tandem and mountain cycles may be hired to explore the numerous trails around the hotel.

Pricing guidelines for Swaziland

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). South Africa combines well with Botswana, Mauritius and Mozambique.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
