About Boulders Beach Lodge

  • Close Panel

This luxury lodge and restaurant is located overlooking False Bay on the way to the Cape Peninsula in Simons Town. It has spectacular views and is just 70 metres from the world famous penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

There are courtyard rooms, upper deck suites with sea views and family suites. There are also two self catering units. All rooms are stylish and comfortably fitted with wrought iron beds and en-suite bathrooms and tea and coffee making facilities. The restaurant offers wonderful food from a talented chef with Pacific Rim Cuisine and has a terrace with views across the water to False Bay.

The penguins live in the Boulders Coastal Park which is part of the Table Mountain National Park and one of the few sites where these fascinating birds can be seen close up without interferance of their habitat. The penguins do sometimes even walk around the lodge and the restaurant!

Pricing guidelines for South Africa

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). South Africa combines well with Botswana, Mauritius and Mozambique.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:
£

  £50 to £100

  £100 to £200

  £200 to £300
