About Table Mountain Lodge

  • Close Panel

Table Mountain Lodge was originally a farmhouse built in 1885 in the traditional Cape Dutch style and sits on the slopes of Signal Hill in the Tamboerskloof area of Cape Town with breathtaking views of Table Mountain. The lodge offers warm hospitality, excellent service and hearty breakfasts.

There are 3 room types and sizes - small classic, classic room or great classic room. All eight rooms are en-suite and individually decorated. All rooms have tea / coffee trays, satellite TV, direct dial telephone and air-conditioning.

Relax and enjoy the views of Table Mountain on the terrace area by the swimming pool where the gardens are also planted with fragrant herbs. There is a cosy bar called Jock's Trap (Scottish!) to enjoy drinks.

From the lodge you can walk to numerous well known restaurants, The Company's Gardens, museums, the city centre and you are also close to the Atlantic beaches, the Table Mountain cable way and the popular Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. It is 15 mins walk to the city centre.

Pricing guidelines for South Africa

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). South Africa combines well with Botswana, Mauritius and Mozambique.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:
£

  £50 to £100

  £100 to £200

  £200 to £300
