About Gorah Elephant Camp

  • Close Panel

An exclusive safari lodge in traditional style in a private concession area inside Addo Elephant Park. The area is malaria free and home to the big 5. The Greater Addo area is constantly expanding and now stretches to the coast as well with eco-systems linked by game corridors. This is a fabulous region for all kinds of game viewing, horse riding, mountain biking, walking, bird watching and enjoying stunning scenery.

The luxury tented suites at Gorah are all furnished in the style of the explorers of the 1900s. They are all en-suite and have huge beds, private decks with views of the plains, solar powered lights, ceiling fans and communication with the main lodge.

The main house at Gorah has two lounges and dining areas and a library. Log fires warm you in the winter and in warmer months dining can be enjoyed outside too. There is a swimming pool and relaxing area. Horse riding can be arranged here.

Pricing guidelines for South Africa

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). South Africa combines well with Botswana, Mauritius and Mozambique.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:
£

  £50 to £100

  £100 to £200
