Arts and Ancestors

Discover the history of humans as you are escorted to locations where man took his first steps and left his earliest impressions of the incredible animals which shaped his world, the elephant, lion and antelope.  Witness the splendour of untamed wilderness areas where those animals still roam free.

This is a new trip developed by one of Africa's top guides with decades of experience and offers a fascinating insight to the people and crafts of Africa as well as the animals. It is a very educating and enlightening holiday for those wanting to learn about culture and history from their trip to South Africa.

The places visited include fossil sites, historic cave paintings, spiritual places and archeological digs.  You will also have the chance to interact with local tribal people and learn about their culture and crafts.

Travelling by road you gain an insight to the real country instead of just flying over it and conversing with locals who have decades of stories and memories will fill you with admiration and awe of the changes in their societies.

The last three days are a traditional safari but as this trip can also be tailor made we can change this to suit if you prefer more time outside of the game parks.
