Best times to go
In the dry winter months from May to August wildlife tends to congregate at the waterholes. Nights can be cold. The vegetation can be dense in the rainy season from October to March, particularly in the south of the park.

There are direct flights from Europe to Johannesburg (about 10 ½ hours direct) and sometimes Cape Town (about 11 hours direct). Return flights from the UK cost from about £500 plus taxes.

Kruger really has everything in terms of wildlife. For me it's fascinating because it's never the same, and there are so many different types of terrain here, you can even look for specific animals in specific areas.
