The Winston is an attractive guesthouse on the outskirts of the popular village of Simonstown, with excellent guest facilities, comfortable accommodation and friendly service.
The Winston has 5 spacious guest suites, decorated in a nautical theme with white washed furniture, touches of blue and red and seafaring sculptures. The rooms are very well equipped, with air conditioning, satellite TV, DVD players and tea and coffee making facilities. Each room has a lavish ensuite bathroom, complete with deep bathtub, ideal for a relaxing soak after a busy day, and a shower with extra large shower head.
The suites have large sliding glass doors which open onto the spacious patio and entertainment area. This includes a sunny wooden deck and swimming pool. From here guests can enjoy views across False Bay towards Cape Point. Indoors there is a comfortable living room, where guests can relax, maybe with a drink from the honour bar, and peruse the selection of books and DVDs. The Winston serves a delicious breakfast, either full English or Continental, as preferred, a perfect start to the day.
Simonstown is an attractive village with a range of restaurants, art galleries, boutiques and a waterfront harbour. There are several good beaches and various watersports are available. Boulders Beach with its famous colony of Jackass Penguins, is nearby. This is also a great area for whale watching, from September to November. Cape Town is just 40kms away.
