Rissington Inn offers a warm welcome and is a perfect base from which to explore this fascinating area, including the 'Panorama Route' and Kruger National Park. The inn has 16 rooms and suites, all individually decorated and furnished and all with ensuite bathrooms. Each room has its own entrance and veranda.

The inn has 10 acres of lush gardens where guests are free to roam. There is a good sized swimming pool. The restaurant serves all meals and the Rissington Bar is a great place in which to enjoy a sundowner, maybe enjoying views down the valley from the deck. Alternatively guests can relax in the attractive sitting room which has a TV and well-stocked library.

Activities available nearby include valley walks, golf, tennis, bowls, fishing and horse riding. Kruger National Park and its wealth of game is just a 10 minute drive away.

Also nearby are Blyde River Canyon, God's Window and Bourke's Luck Potholes, waterfalls and the chance to go hiking and enjoy the fantastic scenery.

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). South Africa combines well with Botswana, Mauritius and Mozambique.
