About Liberty Lodge

  • Close Panel

Liberty Lodge is located in a vibrant part of Cape Town, within safe and easy walking distance of a good selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and designer shops. It is only 2 km. from Table Mountain and the city centre and business district. The world famous V & A Waterfront (the Gateway to Robben Island) and the beautiful beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton are under 10 minutes drive away. The Winelands of Stellenbosch and Franschoek and the Cape of Good Hope are within easy driving distance. The Lodge's first floor deck offers spectacular views of the city and bay as well as the surrounding mountains.

Each of the 4 bedrooms is equipped with an electronic wall safe, telephone, television, alarm clock, hair dryer, heater, fan and air conditioning. All are en-suite with shower (one is equipped with a shower over the bath).

Guests can enjoy a sumptuous breakfast in the charming dining room or in the peaceful courtyard in summer.

Liberty Lodge could tell a few tales if walls could talk! Past uses have been a Victorian gentleman's townhouse, a fabric emporium and even a bordello in the 1940's. After all these changes of character, the house has at last become a wonderfully warm home waiting to welcome visitors to Cape Town and offer a friendly base to explore the city from.

Pricing guidelines for South Africa

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). South Africa combines well with Botswana, Mauritius and Mozambique.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:
£

  £50 to £100

  £100 to £200

  £200 to £300
