Leopard Hills Private Game Reserve is situated in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, bordering the world famous Kruger National Park. The lodge, a true luxury experience, with fine dining, outstanding cuisine and an extensive wine cellar, is situated on a hilltop sanctuary overlooking a natural waterhole.

Each of the 8 glass-fronted, luxurious suites are air-conditioned and complete with breathtaking romantic bathrooms, which include double indoor and outdoor showers have windows, which open to a glorious view of the African bush. Each suite has its own sundeck and rock plunge pool, comfortable beds, mosquito nets, and a special touch for each suite. The privacy of your suite allows you to bask in the views while enjoying a drink or snack from your fully stocked mini-bar. Or relax, either in your hammock or pool lounger outside, whilst listening to the tranquil sound of the surrounding bushveld.

The guest areas consist of spacious lounge area, open-air deck, cosy bar, library, traditional Shangaan Boma dining area, curio shop and wellness centre.

Your days will consist of game drives through the bush in your open 4x4 safari vehicle with an experienced guide and tracker, in search of the famed ‘Big 5', and the smaller animals and birds, making this a true safari and wildlife ‘paradise'. Your knowledgeable ranger will also take you on a bush walk and guide you through the fauna and flora of the Sabi Sand Reserve, pointing out insects, grasses, trees, and smaller species that are all an integral part of the greater Kruger National Park ecosystem.

Leopard Hills has also recently formed a small junior school on the premises, providing managers and staff throughout the Sabi Sand Reserve the opportunity to provide their children with an education matching the high standards of top South African schools and colleges. This school has proved to be highly popular amongst families residing in the reserve. Children have the opportunity of gaining a top education whilst growing up in the unique bushveld that surrounds them.

Pricing guidelines for South Africa

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). South Africa combines well with Botswana, Mauritius and Mozambique.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:

  £50 to £100
