About Kagga Kamma Private Game Reserve

    • Close Panel

Kagga Kamma is in the southern Cederberg Mountains away from modern life and noise.  Escape to the wilderness and enjoy the huge skies, stars at night and smell the earth.

There are two accommodations to choose from here, the lodge has rooms actually built into the rocks and the camp has full size beds out in the open so you can really sleep under the stars!

Bushmen Lodge offers a choice of accommodation; there are five spacious en suite thatched rondavels, suitable for families with children. There are also ten unique 'cave suites' which have a private terrace, en suite bathrooms and twin beds. Built against the mountain, the buildings blend perfectly with the surrounding landscape.  The lodge has an indoor restaurant and outdoor dining area, bar and gardens and a swimming pool and health treatments.

Outcrop Open Air Camp is situated on a remote rocky outcrop far away from the lodge providing shelter in the rocks in a full size cosy bed under the stars.  You can book this sleepout from the lodge at a supplement and either take dinner at the lodge then transfer out to your rocky hideaway or take a picnic meal out where your campfire and choice of drinks awaits you. Nights here are typically crisp and clear, perfect for sleeping under the stars.

    Pricing guidelines for South Africa

    • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). South Africa combines well with Botswana, Mauritius and Mozambique.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
