About Jock Safari Lodge

  • Close Panel

Jock Safari Lodge is a well established, colonial style, luxury lodge with spa facilities in the Southern part of the Kruger National Park.

There are 12 luxury suites at 'Main Jock' and 3 at 'Little Jock'. All rooms are individually named and styled after the explorer era and there is plenty of historical memorabilia from the days of 'Jock of the Bushveld'. The lodge is in a big 5 area in 6,000 hectares of private concenssion inside the main Kruger Park. The main lodge sits on the confluence of Biyameti and Mitomeni rivers.

The rooms all have luxury furnishings and toiletries and lovely viewing decks each with a private plunge pool. There is a relaxation retreat with hydrotherapy pool, steam room and sauna. The main lodge has a bar, lounge and swimming pool.

Game drives morning and evening are carried out in open sided 4WD jeeps and a maximum of 6 guests per vehicle. Walking safaris can be enjoyed here and can take you to see some of the oldest bushman art paintings in Africa.

The lodge is child friendly, though no children under the age of 7 are allowed on game drives and walking is limited to over 16 years.

Little Jock can be booked on an exclusive basis or individual rooms. The room are large and luxurious, though they do not have individual plunge pools there is a main pool. Little Jock has it's own vehicle, chef and hostess so it's a private location in the bush.

Pricing guidelines for South Africa

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £600 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). South Africa combines well with Botswana, Mauritius and Mozambique.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:

  £50 to £100
