    About Reserva Amazonica

    • Close Panel

Reserva Amazonica is situated in a private reserve, surrounded by a vast jungle canopy adjacent to Tambopata National Reserve. Accommodation is in 30 private thatched-roof cabanas with modern amenities including warm water showers, electricity, bath robes and slippers and ceiling fans. Each room also has its own screened porch with a hammock for peaceful relaxation.

The dining pavilion, imaginatively built around the trunk of a fig tree, offers regional cuisine based on fresh local ingredients. There are separate bar and lounge areas and also balconies with magnificnet views over the surrounding forest. There is also a gift shop in the main building. The lodge's spa offers various treatments including massage, reflexology and reiki.

The lodge offers a variety of guided excursions into the rainforest. The canopy walkway, one of the longest in South America, enables to guests to walk through the treetops for more than quarter of a mile, over 31 metres above the forest floor.

    Pricing guidelines for Peru

    • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £750 to £1000 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Peru combines very well with Ecuador (including the Galapagos Island), but can also be linked with Brazil.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
