About Casa Andina Private Collection - Puno

  • Close Panel

Casa Andina Private Collection - Puno enjoys a wonderful location on the shores of Lake Titicaca, some 3,800 metres above sea level. The hotel has been built using local materials including wood, stone and clay tiles. The centre of Puno is just a 5 minute taxi ride and the nearest airport, Juliaca, is only 45 minutes away.

The 46 spacious guest bedrooms feature private bathroom, TV, telephone, hairdryer, safe deposit box and coffee making facilities. Many look out over Lake Titicaca while others have mountain views. Oxygen is available in every room.

The hotel restaurant has ceiling to floor windows with stunning views out over the lake. Sunsets are spectacular views from here. The two wood burning stoves add to the cozy atmosphere. It has an excellent reputation for serving regional gourmet cuisine, including local lake fish. A generous breakfast buffet, including freshly cooked omlettes, is served each morning.

Other facities include a lounge bar, free computer and internet access, currency exchange and jewellery shop. There is a large, sunny terrace and the extensive gardens offer great views of the lake and mountains. The hotel also has its own pier just a few metres from the main building. .

Pricing guidelines for Peru holidays

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £750 to £1000 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Peru combines very well with Ecuador (including the Galapagos Island), but can also be linked with Brazil.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:

  under £60

  £60 to £100
