Once more the four levels don't seem applicable. For us the Nepalese people are what made our holiday. They are kind, almost always smile, especially the children. To see many of them so poor, but happy with their lot, makes us a little ashamed, to say the least.

Especially the local villages. Kathmandu was just another tourist city.

No effort was spared to make sure that we saw and did everything possible. The local folks were very happy to help us experience "the real Nepal".... the front of my hair is still pink from the enthusiastic application of tikka dye in a mountain village. My grandson thinks it's very cool.
