Londo Lodge is set on a peninsula surrounded by the Indian Ocean and backed by pristine African bush and mangrove forest. There are just 7 villas, so privacy and seclusion are guaranteed. They are octagonal and traditional in construction and are simply but immaculately furnished, with the best quality linens and materials. Set on large teak decks, all have views looking out to the ocean. They have indoor and outdoor bathrooms and are air conditioned. The style is a blend of traditional sub-Sahara African, Moroccan and Indian.
The restaurant specialises in fresh seafood - fish, prawns, crayfish and crab - complemented by the finest South African wines. As well as dining at the lodge, guests can enjoy bush breakfasts, private lunches on secluded beaches and sunset dinners on board the lodge's dhow.
There is a great range of activities on offer, including snorkelling, diving (the lodge has its own PADI instructor), fishing, canoeing and waterskiing. Inland, guests can take guided bush walks in the Quirimbas National Park and there is ample opportunity for bird watching. If all this is too much why not just relax on your deck or in the cliffedge pool, enjoying views of the beach below. The lodge has a spa offering massage, facials, manicure, pedicure and body wraps. Other facilties include a library and a mangrove beach bar.
