Perhaps the most famous kasbahs (fortified houses) and ksour (a collection of kasbahs) are at Ait Benhaddou just north of Ouarzazate.
Volubilis
Volubilis, near Meknes, is mostly noted for its Roman history as the empire's most remote outpost.
