In the heart of Essaouira, a few blocks from the coast, the Villa Maroc consists of two 16th century merchant houses which have been joined into a single hotel. It is loacted in the small medina and is just a few minutes walk from the beach.
All rooms are beautiful furnished with authentic craftsmanship. There are standard and superior rooms and suites, some of which can accommodate family groups. A balcony encircles the coutyard garden while a roof terrace offers fine views over the ramparts of Essaouira and of the sea. Villa Maroc has a hammam and a spa, offering massages and beauty treatments.
The cuisine has both Moroccan and European influences. Fish and other local produce feture prominently. The menu changes daily. reflecting the variety and availability of fresh ingredients. Breakfast consists of fresh bread, homemade jams, yoghurt and fruit accompanied by freshly squeezed fruit juice and hot drinks. Meals can be enjoyed in any of the cosy lounges throughout the hotel, on the roof terrace or in one of the patios.
