About Villa des Orangers

  • Close Panel

Villa des Orangers is a former merchant's house just 400 metres from the Djemmaa el Fna and Koutoubia Mosque which has been beautifully converted to offer stylish accommodation. There are 21 suites and 6 deluxe rooms as well as a separate private riad. All rooms are decorated in traditonal Moroccan style and have air conditioning, TV, minibar, 'phone and safe. Speakers for MP3 players and DVD players are available on request. All rooms and suites have ensuite bathrooms, and many have access to a private patio or terrace. The suites are larger than the rooms and some have a separate lounge area. The private riad has 2 suites, a solarium, conservatory and swimming pool - ideal for families or groups travelling together.

There are 2 elegant courtyards and a large garden, complete with the orange trees after which the villa is named. There is a good size swimming pool (16 metres long), heated in winter, surrounded by sunloungers. There is an additional rooftop pool. The villa has an impressive array of facilities including a hammam, a beauty centre, fitness centre and solarium. The 3 lounges are comfortably furnished and offer space to relax after a busy day's sightseeing.

There are 2 restaurants, specialising in French & Mediterranean cuisine and local Moroccan dishes, both with impressive wine lists. Meals can be enjoyed indoors or outside, by the pool, in the garden or on one of the many terraces. There is also an open air bar serving a range of refreshing drinks.

Being so close to the main tourist sites, this is an ideal spot from which to explore this lively and fascinating city, yet it is also a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and offers many cosy corners in which to relax.

Pricing guidelines for Morocco

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £250 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Many clients book their own flights with Easyjet or similar.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
